MicroSD memory Card >16 GB (Read/Write values indicate maximum theoretical for specific equipment):
Samsung Evo Plus (128 gb, Max read/write= 100 Mbs/90 Mbs)
SanDisk Extreme (128 Gb, 160 Mbs read, 90 Mbs write)
MicroSD Card Reader - USB 3.0 to SD card reader is optimal (must be Linux compatible)
Cooling Fans (Required if using case or heavy computation - be sure to match adaptors)
Data Hub (Separate Power Supply highly preferential)
Technical Guides & Notes
Dr. Matthews provides a brief Parallella guide outlining procedures for formatting new SD cards, expanding the card image (used to boot Linux on the board), and a modular Parallella case in "Technical Musings". The Parallella case mentioned on the website can also be purchased at this link.
A Linux machine is required to format the Parallella's SD card and install ParaBuntu.
